Mossop's Honey Visit

Today Room 2 went to Mossop's Honey because we have been learning about insects. Evelyn met us there and told us about the different types of bees; the drone, the worker and the Queen.

We were allowed to taste different types of honey. One even had chocolate in it!!!

Thank you Mossop's Honey for having us, we had a great time!

We had a special furry visitor today!

Room 2 was very lucky this morning because we had a special visitor!
Thanks Elaina and Mrs Hosking for bringing in Charlie the guinea pig to show us!

Where do we belong?

Room 2 is learning about where we belong. We discussed how we belong to lots of different groups and how a very important group is our family group because they are our family forever!

We also talked about all the types  different groups we can belong to. Some of the groups we thought of were church, school, swimming and iconz.

Family Fun Night

We had such a great time at our Family Fun Night! It was wonderful to see so many people show up and get into the spirit of things! I just wish I had of taken more pictures!! Here's a few of them :) Mr Bishop took some pictures and there will be some on the website but in the meantime....

We had a special visit today from Harold

Today Room 2 had a visit from Harold. We talked about how we are special and how we all have the same needs like needing food, water, oxygen, love, shelter and exercise.

We also talked about safety and how it is very important to be safe when at the park.

We are excited about Harolds visit tomorrow to see what else he can teach us.

What does our class look like?

Hello,
This is just a quick post for 2 reasons.
1, I'm just testing my new fancy app on my phone to see if I can post on the go when something exciting is happening in Room 2.
2, For those of you who haven't seen our class yet I have (hopefully) attached a picture for you to see what our space looks like. Usually there are 11 children but they've all gone home!
